Monica has been sewing baby items for years, but is now selling them to help raise
funds for our adoption. We are in the process of adopting a daughter from Ethiopia.
Adoption is a costly process because when done properly all processing is legal,
the orphanage is supported with a generous donation, all the workers in the process
are paid fair wages, and laws are followed.
We feel so blessed that we are able to adopt and we are excitedly waiting for the
day when we’ll travel to Ethiopia to meet our daughter and bring her home. Ethiopia
is a fascinating country with a rich heritage and culture, but it is also ravaged
by poverty and severe illness. Of the 50 million orphans in the world, approximately
5 million of them are from Ethiopia.
